  • Quasi-orthodox Quantum Mechanics and The Principle of Sufficient Reason. The recent puzzling experimental results of Daryl J. Bem would be explained in a natural rationally coherent way if the supposedly ramdom element of orthodox quantum mechanics were, under favorable experimental conditions. slightly biased in favor of the creation of positive emotional states of observers. Jan.13, 2012
  • Quantum Locality? A response to a recent paper in FOP by Robert Griffiths that claims that faster-than-light transfer of information does not occur in his "Consistent Quantum Theory". I show that my recent proof of the need for faster-than-light transfer of information is validated within his restrictive version of quantum theory that claims to exclude faster-than-light transfers of information. This version includes my response to Griffiths reply of Dec. 14, 2011. Being Processed by Found. of Physics.

  • Photocopy of my 1978 Epistemological Letters proof of the need for faster-than- light transfer of information in any theory that satisfies "local causes" and reproduces certain predictions of quantum theory. The proof deals directly with the observables of quantum theory, rather than with hidden variables, and hence circumvents the need for the superfluous mathematical conditions associated with such variables. The cited orginal 1968 proof of the core contradiction is electronically available at: http://isswprod.lbl.gov/Library/view-docs/public/output/LBL-5333.pdf It is also showm that no generality is obtained by passing from local deterministic theory to local (factorizable) theory. It can also be accessed via the second entry below. The cited Nouvo Cimento article is given in the third entry.

  • Reply to "On some methods of Strengthening Bell's theorem using counterfactuals" by T. Bigaj This reply is a strong (and techically new) defense of my claim that orthodox quantum precepts (which preclude the use of hidden variables, or associated "reality" assumptions) entail the necessity of faster-than-light transfer of information. The argument uses my previous technical conclusions (examined and reaffirmed by Bigaj--- Sumbitted for publication) in a technically new way.
  • Letter commenting on Bigaj's book "NonLocality and Possible Worlds". Bigaj's detailed book criticizes works by Redhead, and Redhead, Butterfield, and Clifton, and by Shimony and Stein, that have criticized my nonlocality proofs. I use Bigaj's detailed work first to defend my earlier proofs, and then to describe my most recent (very simple) one. October 3, 2007
