Abstract:
The physics program will be reviewed for e+e- linear colliders in the TeV energy range. At these prospective facilities, central issues of particle physics can be addressed: the problem of electro- weak symmetry breaking, aspects of unification of the interactions, and the structure of space-time. In this context the talk will focus on analyses of the Higgs mechanism, supersymmetry and extra space dimensions. Moreover, high-precision studies of the top-quark and the gauge boson sector will be discussed. Combined with LHC results, a comprehensive picture can be developed of physics from the electro- weak to the TeV scale and beyond.
