Abstract:
Many processes of interest at TeV scale hadron colliders contain b quarks. QCD calculations of such processes can be considered in the four and five flavor number schemes. Heavy flavor jets produced in association with a Z boson provides a clean experimental signature to probe the phenomenology of such calculations. I will present recent results from the ATLAS experiment at the LHC which compare differential cross-sections of Z+b-jets measured in data to various theoretical predictions at leading and next to leading order.
