Title: Multi-Jet Higgstrahlung Event Analysis

Abstract:

In a future e+e- Linear Collider, the golden channel for Higgs production is the Higgsstrahlung process, e+e- -> ZH. In studies of the Higgs mechanism for generating particle masses, many measurements will be performed in events with the Z decaying leptonically to tag the Higgs. However, multi-jet reconstruction of t, W, Z and H are important for measurements of the top Yukawa coupling, Higgs self-coupling, etc. In this multi-jet study, I will show the expected Higgs signal and background in reconstructed Higgsstrahlung events with the Z and Higgs decaying hadronically. This analysis aims to understand the detector design requirements for jet reconstruction in optimizing the charged particle tracking and calorimetry.
