Abstract:

The BaBar experiment at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center collected data from e+e- collisions at the Upsilon(4S) resonance energy between 1999 and 2008. Main areas of study include CP violation in B decays, search for rare and forbidden B decays, charm mixing, search for new charm and quarkonium states and tau decays. I will review some of BaBar's most important measurements and how they changed our knowledge in these areas.
