Abstract:
CP violation in penguins is a sensitive probe for new physics. The Standard Model (SM) CP violation parameter (also known as ) has been determined with 5% accuracy in B decays to charmonium, which proceed via transitions. The SM predicts that measured in decays that are dominated by penguin transitions should be very nearly the same as it is in transitions. Deviations from this prediction would be strong evidence for new physics. I will present recent Belle results on CP violation parameter determinations in a variety of penguin penguin processes.
