Abstract:

In this talk I will discuss the extensive modifications to the hardware and reconstruction that CMS has made in anticipation of the higher energies and increased luminosity of Run 2. I will also discuss some of our most intriguing excesses from Rumn 1 and how we plan to address them in Run 2.
