Title: Searches for New Physics with Top Quarks

Abstract:

The top quark plays a special role in the standard model as it accounts for the largest correction to the Higgs boson mass. Due to its huge mass it is natural to suppose that extensions to the standard model are related to the top quark. Moreover, given the large dataset of hadron colliders, top quark physics has now entered new levels of precision. In this talk I will briefly present our current experimental understanding of the top quark and focus on our extensive searches for beyond-standard-model processes associated with top quarks.
