Title: W Mass Measurement at LEP

Abstract:

After the end of the very successful LEP era at CERN, the W mass measurement is now close to being finalised. The four LEP experiments together have collected 2800 corresponding to roughly 35000 pair-produced W events. The comprehensive analysis of this dataset in combination with the precise knowledge of the beam energy at LEP, leads to the currently most accurate W mass measurement in the world. The important points in the measurement are reviewed, and a comparison with the electroweak predictions and their possible implications will be discussed.
