Title: Electroweak Physics with the ATLAS Detector - From Detector Commissioning to Constraining the Standard Model

Abstract:

This talk presents the most recent measurements of electroweak physics at ATLAS, with focus on W and WW physics. The current results, already limited by systematic uncertainties, provide important constraints on parton-distribution-function fits and a unique opportunity to study electroweak interactions at an energy scale unprecedented at colliders. A view on the current status and prospects for future measurements of electroweak physics, including H->WW, is also presented.
