Title: A Report from Snowmass 2005, Part I: ILC Accelerator R&D and Beam Instrumentation
Part II: ILC Physics Requirements, Detector Design and Detector R&D

Abstract:

Here is a common abstract for the Sept 8 and 15 talks: The 2005 International Linear Collider Physics and Detector Workshop and Second ILC Accelerator Workshop at Snowmass, CO brought together a large community of accelerator physicists, theorists and experimentalists working world-wide on the next large scale project in High Energy Physics. This pair of talks will provide a summary of the main issues discussed and the progress made towards a realistic proposal for the ILC accelerator and detectors, with special emphasis on those areas of main relevance to LBNL.
