Pat Hayes raised some very good questions in his recent communication
to this group. So good, in fact, that I added a section to my new
book-under-construction in which I quoted his questions and gave my
answers.  The book is directed at an audience broader than the physicists
toward which my recent paper was directed. It is supposed, in my dreams, to
be "popular"??.  The first part is on my web-site, and the section in
question is entitled "The Real Stuff". But it really should be read in context.
The (of course very tentative) part 1 is 19 pages long. I would really welcome
any comments/criticisms.   Henry
