After a long sleep, I've come to the conclusion that there really isnt any point in us arguing about this stuff. Nothing I can say is going to persuade you, and nothing you can say is going to persuade me. Each of us thinks the other is committing logical errors. None of us are fully professionally competent at the subtleties which philosophers have already brought to discussions in this area. Each of us knows very little about the other's technical area of expertise so is unable to make critical evaluations of one another's bold assertions. The most productive thing to do is to not waste so much time going around and around like this, but for all of just get on with our actual work. So, thanks for the fun, but I really have got to focus on other things now. Good luck with the quantum computers.
