" It is important to observe direct CP violation in decay amplitudes in order to rule out superweak theories for CP violation and to confirm (or demolish) the "Standard"(Kobayashi-Maskawa) description of the observed CP violation in K-Kbar mixing. In addition to the more familiar cases of B decays and K decays(e'/e); hyperon decays offer one more place to look for such direct CP violation. The theory and the rich phenomenology of CP violation in hyperon non-leptonic decays will be described." Is this better? Sandip
