Title: ``New sub-millimeter dimensions and quantum gravity at the TeV scale"

Abstract:

Recently, a new solution to the hierarchy problem has been proposed which does not rely on supersymmetry or technicolor. Instead, the fundamental Planck scale, where gravity unites in strength with the other interactions, is brought down to the TeV scale, in the presence of new sub-millimeter dimensions. This framework is experimentally viable, surviving laboratory, astrophysical and cosmological constraints. It opens up the exciting possibiltiy that the LHC and NLC will probe quantum gravitational effects, and that deviations from Newtonian gravity may be observed soon in new sub-millimeter measurements of gravitational strength forces.
