Abstract:

The search for the Higgs boson and physics beyond the Standard Model is well underway in Run II at the Tevatron. In many cases, these searches involve heavy diboson states (WW, WZ, ZZ), either directly as a discovery channel or as important backgrounds. In this talk, I discuss diboson physics at the Tevatron, with an emphasis on the first observation of WZ production and the search for ZZ using 1 fb-1 of integrated luminosity collected by the CDF II detector.
