Title: A New Electric Dipole Moment (EDM) Experiment which may be Interesting Even in the Absence of an EDM

Abstract:

The experimental bounds on the electric dipole moments (EDM)s are several orders of magnitude below those predicted by generic supersymmetry (SUSY) and is referred to as the SUSY CP problem. Lowering in the experimental bounds by a factor of 100, especially of the electron, could turn the problem into something worse. But with each lowering, the experiments have become more difficult: we will describe the problems, the proposed solutions, the R&D we are doing, and the prospects for discovering or ruling out an electron EDM as small as a factor of 1000 below the present limit.
