Abstract:

The current status and future prospects of the physics of the CKM (Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa) matrix and CP violation will be discussed. This talk is an extended version of the talk presented at the plenary session of the ICHEP '04, Beijing, China, August 16-22.
