Abstract:

Measurements of CKM matrix parameters are now precise enough to permit the search for small deviations from SM predictions. Using a specialized secondary vertex trigger (SVT) CDF has collected large samples of heavy flavour decays which have been used for several measurements including masses, lifetimes and branching ratios. These are the building blocks of more complex analyses and establish the framework for the measurement of Bs mixing. Highlights of these analyses will be presented along with the latest limits from CDF on the Bs mixing parameter x_s and prospects for the observation of Bs mixing in Run II.
